Selena Gomez will take the stage for the very first time since her kidney transplant.
Selena has fully recovered from her surgery and she is coming back in a major way by performing at the American Music Awards!
Yes you heard that right! Selena is returning to the main stage and one that she is very familiar with! The come and get it singer is set to perform her brand new hit single “Wolves” at the 2017 AMAs on Nov 19th. Sel is no stranger to the AMAs having some of her most memorable performances at the award show like her 2014 emotional performance of “The Heart Want What it Wants, the following year she hit the stage with Same Old Love and last year she took home the award for Favorite Female artist so it’s not surprise that the singer chose the AMAs for the world tv premiere of Wolves.
She took to twitter to share her excitement by tweeting a promo photo for the show with the caption “Can’t Wait.” #SelenaAMAs 11/19 on ABC.
And we can’t wait either! It has been a few months since we have seen our girl perform. Back in September she revealed she quietly took a step back from her music over the summer to recover from her kidney transplant. But now that she has fully recovered she can’t wait to hit the ground running she told Apple Musics Zayne Lowe in an recent interview that “"I'm ready. I want to get back in and re-focus on all of my music.” She added that “Wolves” maybe be one of her most persoan records yet saying "The song is very beautiful and personal. Weirdly, at the same time I was working on it in Japan, I was going through stuff too, so it's mirrored everything."
Alright Selenators get ready because it looks like Selena is going to have us all shooketh at the AMAs!
