Selena Gomez VS Demi Lovato Fashion at 2015 AMAs

I don’t know about you but I added like 40 pics of those two to my Pinterest because like I said- goals. Now I ask you- who looked better?
First let’s break down Demi Lovato, who channeled old Hollywood glamour with her long, black and gold gown by Lorena Sarbu, flapper-esque jet black hair and maroon lips. I mean, her beauty was literally devastating. Look at that hair! I can’t get enough. Probably my favorite of all her decisions with this look. Who knew the bob could be so sultry? Her eyes were smoky with a charcoal grey all over the lid, and her lips were retro and dramatic. And her dress was as elegant as it was sexy. I mean that back! With that much drama she knew not to over do it with the jewelry, but then again it’s demi, and demi’s style is always edgy so she added these matching rings to her left hand which matched her dress and sparkly black clutch perfectly. You might be thinking this look was a wee bit more conservative than we were expecting from her but A) you can slay without giving it all away and B) she showed a whole lot more skin during her performance so she was just showing variety. Now let’s move on to Selena. What the hell was she wearing? And I mean that with pure admiration. Sel never fails, and this look was a risk, this dress was such a departure from anything we’ve ever seen her do before and it WORKED SO WELL! Where do I begin. The hair? She looked like an exotic Latina mermaid with that hair, it was like 10 feet of straight, beautiful tresses. Her dress- wow! A backless, and I mean, reeeally backless red sequined dress ending on her mid calf, with a slit in the front of the skirt, and this fascinating thick rope looking strap gathering the dress around her neck and back. Strappy barely there heels and because she never makes mistakes, she somehow was able to match her eye shadow to her dress without looking cheesy. Interestingly, she chose to rock the same silvery blue contact lenses that she wore at the VS fashion show. So there you have it- two very different looks. Both stunning and quite different from anything we’ve ever seen from both starlets. So who’s look did you love just a little more?
