Nothing warms our hearts more than a reunion between former BFFs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez.
It counts as a reunion if two old friends are in the same place at the same time, right??
Okay, MAYBE the word reunion isn’t the right word to describe Selena and Demi’s gathering at WE Day this year. While the two were definitely at WE Day, it doesn’t really seem like they crossed paths at all.
But you know what? That’s totally okay because both Demi and Selena were there for reasons much bigger than themselves! In two brand new previews of the upcoming telecast, Demi and Selena are seen talking to a huge crowd of excited teens.
Demi gave them all some pretty incredible words of empowerment:
On top of encouraging the crowd to take action and help out their communities, Selena also hosted the show for the second time and she could not look more enthusiastic to do so.
Selena and Demi weren’t the only big stars at WE Day. Other special guests include Alessia Cara with STOMP, Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled, Tyrese Gibson, and so many more! The WE Day telecast is set to air on August 4th at 8 p.m. EST on CBS, so mark your calendars!
