Beliebers, this update is for you guys! Justin Bieber is officially returning to the American Music Awards on November 20th. But he won’t ACTUALLY be there. The Biebs will perform from his Purpose tour concert in Zurich, Switzerland during the live broadcast of the AMAs. The show tweeted to confirm: “@justinbieber is performing from Zurich, Switzerland this Sunday at 8/7c on ABC”.
No word on WHAT exactly Justin will be performing as of yet but our guess is his hit, “Sorry”? And if we’re lucky maybe a mashup of “Sorry” and “Cold Water”?! This marks Justin’s 6th time performing at the AMAs, and need we remind you he’s only 22?
JB is nominated for five American Music Awards this year including Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album, and Artist of the Year. In the Artist of the Year category he’ll face off against his ex Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Beyonce and more. We’re sure if Justin was stateside right now he would attend the show, but seeing as he’s on his worldwide Purpose tour right now this is the next best option. Other artists set to perform at the show include Lady Gaga, Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and many more.
Remember guys- the show is this Sunday November 20th and you know Clevver will have you covered with all the highlights! What songs do YOU think Justin will perform during the AMAs?
