The Chainsmokers and Halsey perform their hit “Closer” at the 2016 AMAs...
Just when you think you might be getting sick of listening to “Closer”, The Chainsmokers and Halsey make you fall in love with it all over again...
The Chainsmokers pulled out all the stops for their "Closer" AMAs performance by bringing Blink 182’s Travis Barker as a special guest drummer onto the stage, which made the crowd and all of us at home go wild…
Talk about a blast from the past! And speaking of which, Halsey went full 1990’s Sinead O’Connor with her buzzed cut hairstyle for her AMAs Debut. She and The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart definitely brought their A-game to the stage, after a not-so-well reviewed performance at the MTV VMAs earlier this year.
Halsey and Drew have some seriously sexy chemistry between them on stage as well as in the music video for “Closer”, which is not that surprising given how inhumanly attractive they both are. Meanwhile Alex Pall handled the electronics while rocking a wide-brimmed hat in the back. The performance also featured some high-energy backup dancers and fireworks for good measure.
So now I wanna know did you guys love The Chainsmokers and Halsey’s performance this time around? Sound off in the comments and after that click here to check out Fifth Harmony’s AMAs performance.
