Azmin: Gan Pei Nei must be given a chance to defend herself

PKR deputy president Azmin Ali said there is no record in the state government to show that Gan Pei Nei misused her constituency funds.
"Not that I know of. To be fair, she has been a very committed, hardworking assemblyperson," he said when met at the Gombak nomination centre today.
"The issue was raised, but my prime concern is that anyone who has been accused must be given a fair opportunity to defend oneself.
"Gan Pei Nei has put up a written explanation (together with) evidence to the party to suggest that she is innocent," he said.
