Bella Hadid Clears Up BIGGEST Misconceptions About Her & Talks Kendall Jenner

Bella Hadid has come a long way since she first stepped onto the scene and there are a few things she’d like to clear up.

For all the haters who think Bella was just handed her modeling gig…y’all should think again.
Sure, it may have seemed like Bella made her claim to fame by being Gigi Hadid’s sister and Yolanda Hadid’s daughter, but it actually didn’t happen that way at all. According to the model, she didn’t get where she is today by riding the coattails of her famous family. In her new interview with InStyle magazine, the 20-year-old made it known that she worked really hard to get to where she is in her career.
Bella said QUOTE, “I’m not saying I don’t love my job, but people think modeling is a bulls**t thing to become more famous. I was 100 percent independent by the time I was 18, and I paid for my own apartment. That wasn’t because of my parents. I worked my ass off for two years.” Obviously working super hard paid off because now she has a pretty successful career on the runway.
Bella also opened up about how she met her now BFF, Kendall Jenner – spoiler alert: it wasn’t at a modeling gig. She said QUOTE, “I met her for the first time seven years ago over Twitter. That was before we started modeling; I was probably 14 or 15. We met up and had sushi, and now we’re best friends. She’s a pretty significant human I met online.”
While Bella is happily doing her thing on the runway and in front of a camera with her besties by her side, the model actually revealed that she’s looking to take her next step into the world of film and television. BUT, before that happens she said she would have to QUOTE, “…get a hold of my ADD, but otherwise I think it would be fun.”
Well, Bella did do a little bit of acting in The Weeknd’s ‘In the Night’ music video, so something tells me she would be just fine if she decides to take on any acting projects.
