So did Bella really break the Girl Code or nah?
Us Weekly recently reported that Bella has been dating Kendall’s ex, Jordan Clarkson, after hanging out with him after his team, the LA Lakers, played the New York Knicks on December 12th. The magazines source said the pair had QUOTE, “been hanging out the past few weeks”, but that’s pretty much all they revealed. Considering Jordan had previously dated Kendall, and Bella and Kendall are very close friends, this was interpreted as Bella breaking major girl code, unless, of course, she was given Kendall’s blessing to date her ex. The latter kinda seemed more likely, given that Kendall and Jordan seem to be on friendly terms, and honestly when you’re in that tight a friend group there’s no way you’d sneak around with a friend’s ex without making sure it was cool first.
But before we speculate any further on whether or not Bella got Kendall’s blessing, Bella has now spoken out about the whole dating rumor on social media...kinda. Perez Hilton picked up the story and shared the headline QUOTE, “Sorry, @theweeknd! @bellahadid is reportedly now "hooking up" with NBA stud @JordanClarksons!” on Twitter. Bella replied to that headline with the question QUOTE “I am?”, followed by a very skeptical slash annoyed looking emoji.
Okay, so technically Bella didn’t confirm or deny the rumor in her tweet response, but if she WAS dating Jordan that seems like a pretty bizarre response to that kind of headline. Most celebs keep a low profile when it comes to dating rumors that are actually true, but perhaps Bella IS dating or has at least hooked up with Jordan, and this is her dry way of dealing with the media. We’ll just have to wait and see if she and Jordan, or she and The Weeknd, or she and ANYBODY are spotted getting cozy in the coming weeks to either confirm or deny this one. But we’re pretty skeptical that she’s dating Jordan after that tweet response…
