Teoh Beng Hock's family expressed disappointment in the government's decision to reopen the investigation under Section 342 of the Penal Code for wrongful confinement.
Beng Hock's sister, Teoh Lee Lan, said she wanted to meet the attorney-general Tommy Thomas and revealed that their lawyer is arranging the meeting.
In memory of Teoh, a hundred people in dark coloured shirts, including Teoh's family, friends, and activists from various NGOs, gathered at the entrance of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam last night.
Sporting a baby bump, Lee Lan gave a speech in front of the building where her brother was found dead ten years ago.
