PN's Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal held a press conference in Parliament today, alleging that three top leaders of PKR lied about their membership status with Liberal International.

This came after Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim told the Dewan Rakyat that PKR was just an associate in the beginning, but later cut ties due to opposing opinions.

Wan Ahmad cited inconsistencies in statements provided and said that is better to be like Gerakan which admitted to being a part of LI, but disagreed with the organisation's stand on Israel.
