Beyonce & Dixie Chicks Team Up For "Daddy Lessons" at 2016 CMAs

When we first got wind that Beyonce would be PERFORMING at the 50th annual CMA Awards in Nashville, we were on high B Watch. So when Queen B graced the stage unannounced along with the Dixie Chicks, all chill was lost. It was really a matter of time before Beyonce officially showed her Country card and she did that by performing her Lemonade track “Daddy Lessons”.
Need I remind you that Beyonce hails from the big state of Texas. So combined with the fact that she didn’t have to do insane choreography, the performance was effortlessly organic. But the best news? We get to relive that performance as many times as we want- for free. Immediately following the performance Beyonce released a duet version of “Daddy Lessons” as a free download on Soundcloud. But the partnership isn’t all that surprising as the Dixie Chicks have been covering “Daddy Lessons” on tour. So it’s confirmed: there is no stage Bey can’t slay.
