Ed Sheeran’s duet with Beyonce is here, people, and surprise surprise, it is PERFECT.
Please have your tissues ready, because this new take on “Perfect” is definitely gonna make you cry.
Just when we thought Ed Sheeran couldn’t get any more, well, perfect, he went ahead and got Queen Bey herself to join him on one of his most beautiful songs of all time. The vocal powerhouses teamed up to put a spin on Ed’s latest single, “Perfect,” off his album Divide.
We weren’t sure what to expect when the redhead announced the collaboration yesterday, but we knew that it was going to be amazing. As expected, the “Perfect” remix is an incredible mix of both musicians’ incredible vocals filled with tons of emotion. Ed starts the song like normal and sings on his own through the first chorus, but then Beyonce comes in solo on the second verse and I don’t know about you, but that’s about the moment the goosebumps took over.
Did you hear those harmonies?! Every time we think we’ve heard Beyonce sound the best she’s ever sounded, she goes ahead and releases new music that leaves the world blown away. Ed has an incredible voice, too, as everyone knows, so when he and Bey join together to sing it’s like an angel literally descended from heaven and flew straight into our ears.
Ed’s “Thinking Out Loud” used to be one of his most popular wedding songs, but I’m pretty sure we just found a new winner with the “Perfect” duet. He’s heading out on a world tour starting in March 2018, and you never know -- maybe Beyonce will make a surprise appearance.
