Ed Sheeran SURPRISES Fans At Shawn Mendes Concert, Performs "Mercy" Duet

Shawn Mendes brought out a very special guest last night at his concert in Brooklyn, New York.
Yup, Shawn brought out Ed Sheeran for a swoon-worthy duet.
Wednesday night fans at Shawn Mendes Illuminate concert at the Barclays Center got an extra special treat in the form of a red-headed Englishman. During Shawn’s hit song “Mercy” Ed Sheeran popped out on stage to sing it with him. Take a look and try not to faint.
No, you weren’t the only one freaking out over this magical pairing- the screams from the crowd were shrill enough to make anyone’s ears ring for days. As Ed exited the stage and waved goodbye, Shawn admitted to the audience, “That was just as crazy for me as it was for you guys.”
So this begs the question- can we expect a real duet from these two anytime soon? We’re crossing our fingers. A fan on Twitter pointed out that four years ago Shawn tweeted, “To ever meet ed sheeran would honestly be the best, hes 100% the person i look up to for music.” It’s safe to say that this was one night Shawn will never forget.
After the show Shawn retweeted a black and white photo of the two singing on stage and gazing into each other’s eyes.
