Camila Cabello ripped her pants and cried over Taylor Swift in the same night, so it’s basically another normal night, right?
I Heart Radio’s Jingle Ball hit New York City on Friday and all of the biggest stars were there to celebrate. Not only was the setlist incredible with Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Niall Horan, Taylor Swift and more hitting the stage, but the audience got more than they paid for when Camila Cabello hit the stage.
While the “Havana” singer was performing for thousands of fans, she really gave it her all. So much so that her pants actually ripped right down the middle and she truly experienced how the show must go on.
Thankfully Camila was super prepared because she was wearing black spandex-like shorts under her pants so her performance didn’t suddenly become X-rated. After a fan tweeted out photo proof of the incident, she hilariously roasted herself the next day.
After the accident was made known to the rest of the world, Camila went on to compare herself to the Spongebob Squarepants episode where Spongebob sings the iconic “I ripped my pants” song.
She even gave us insight into her inner monologue the moment she realized she ripped her pants.
If we ripped our pants while performing at Madison Square Garden, we would probably crawl in a hole and never come out again, but Camila just shook it off and went on to have an incredible night.
While most celebs and performers stayed backstage, Camila ventured into the crowd to cheer on the final act, Taylor Swift. Although Cami and Tay are friends, it didn’t stop Camila from having a full-on fangirl moment.. Especially when Ed Sheeran joined Taylor on stage to sing their duet “End Game”.
Basically, Camila is just like us even though she’s one of the biggest singers in Hollywood right now, and that makes us feel pretty good.
