It’s officially been a whole week since Camila Cabello’s debut album dropped, and now some of her famous friends are letting her know what they think!
Usually we’d say that other people’s opinions don’t matter, but not when that person is Taylor Swift…
That’s right, you guys! Following the release of Camila Cabello’s debut album, CAMILA, last week, her famous bestie and also one of her biggest supporters and role models, Taylor Swift, reached out to congratulate her! In an interview Camila did with Zach Sang of The Zach Sang Show, Camila shared that Taylor even penned her a long letter to say how proud she was of this major milestone in Camila’s career.
Wow… coming from a pop music icon like Taylor Swift, that means A LOT. But, just like you, Taylor had to wait until release day to listen to the album in full. However, there was just one exception… maybe you’ve heard of him? That’s right… it was Shawn Mendes!
Apparently, Shawn was SO eager to hear what she’s been working on that Camila sent the album to him two weeks before its official release, and, of course, he LOVED it! He even told Camila his favorite song, which is “Inside Out.” Listening to each other’s new music and supporting each other’s careers are just some parts of their multifaceted friendship, though. Camila went on to say that although they’re always in different places, they chat on the phone non-stop and totally nerd out about Harry Potter.
