Camila’s done it again. Her hit song Havana has not only rocked the world and given me a good hype song to get ready to before I go out, Havana became the longest running No. 1 female single since Adele’s “Someone Like you”. But that’s not the milestone we’re talking about today. Today Camila’s Havana is at the top of the US pop raido charts for the SEVENTH weeks in a row TYING KESHA, KATY PERRY, AND TAYLOR SWIFT for the second-longest running chart topper in THIS DECADE!
And can I just remind everyone that her first solo album hasn’t even come out yet!? Her self-titled album Camila comes out on January 12th which is only 3 days away and we can NOT WAIT for its release. Especially since Camila’s been teasing all of the songs on her Instagram with these cool lyrics videos:
You guys can listen to small snippets of all of her new songs except its last track “Into It.” Don’t worry though because the wait is almost over. I mean after, Crying in the Club, Havana, Real Friends, and Never Be The Same I think it’s safe to say I will Never Be the Same after this album drops. The album has already been receiving rave reviews too. The UK Times named it their album of the week and said this:
“Hot on the heels of Havana, the sultry season-proof Latin smash that recently spent five weeks at No 1, comes a debut that could dominate 2018. Camila screams superstar.”
But it’s time to get your opinion now. What are your thoughts on Camila’s Havana breaking another record and are you excited for Camila’s new album coming out in 3 days? Let us know in the comment section below. And as always, don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks for hanging with me here on Clevver News, I’m our host Naz Perez and I’ll see you guys next time.
