The first official promo for the highly anticipated Keeping Up With the Kardashians about Bruce special has been released and touching does not even begin to explain the emotional preview.
In the promo, old home videos are shown of Bruce with his children while their reactions to him telling them about his transition play in the background as voice overs.
We see images of Bruce working out during his Olympic days, footage of him and Chris out on dates, their wedding, Kris in the delivery room, young Kim in a school uniform, adorable baby footage of Kendall and Kylie showing their daddy love, family ski trips, and trips to Disneyland.
Throughout the montage comments from the family are heard including Kris saying “I met him on a blind date and it was kind of love at first sight” while Kim can be heard saying “We wanna understand his struggle.”
Kourtney says “I think his biggest concern is he doesn’t want to hurt us.”
As heard in the clip shown, Kylie says “I do wanna meet Her, when he’s ready.” While Kendall is heard breaking down saying QUOTE – “I just don’t like when people say Bruce is gonna be gone.”
Bruce’s personal anecdotes are also heard including him comforting Kendall saying QUOTE – “I’m not going anywhere.”
He then adds, “I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared in my life as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids.”
Heavy stuff indeed. This is sure to be a tear jerker.
The special airs on E! on May 17th and continues with a Part 2 on May 18th.
