The Government has not made a concrete decision yet on the teaching of Maths and Science in English.
Prime Minister and acting Education Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that after addressing ministry staff on Thursday (Feb 6).
The Prime Minister said a Cabinet committee had been set up to study the proposal, adding that the public, media, teachers, parents and students were welcome to give their input, adding that a decision would be made "as soon as possible" by the Cabinet.
Dr Mahathir said the Dual Language Programme (DLP), which allows selected schools to teach Maths and Science in English, would carry on.
