Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is also acting education minister, today highlighted the importance of learning a language which could help advance the position of the Malay community.
Mahathir added that he hoped to implement the policy soon after the matter is decided by the cabinet. A committee will be set up for this purpose.
