More investigation has been conducted surrounding that fatal February car accident involving Caitlyn Jenner, and she could possibly be facing vehicular manslaughter charges…
And according to the New York Times, next week the district attorney will decide what charges Jenner will face after investigators are expected to bring out evidence proving that Caitlin was driving in a way that was “unsafe for the prevailing road conditions,” and vehicular manslaughter charges are possible. However, the charge could be a misdemeanor manslaughter charge, but her fate is ultimately up for the D.A. to decide on this one.
Back in May, Caitlyn was named in a wrongful death lawsuit by the family of 69-year-old Kim Howe who was killed in this tragic car accident, where the family claimed Caitlyn was driving in a “negligent, careless and reckless” manner when her Cadillac Escalade crashed into Howe’s Lexus on the Pacific Coast Highway in California.
A month later, Caitlyn faced another lawsuit from Jessica Steindorff, who was also injured in the crash, however Steindorff could also be facing charges as she was driving with a suspended license. Caitlyn did send out a statement in the days following the crash, giving her deepest condolences to the families involved, but this is still a messy soon-to-be resolved situation that we’re all just hoping can be settled in the best way for everyone.
So while the jury is still out, I want to know what you guys think about this situation – do you think Caitlyn should face charges for this?
