It’s been almost a year since Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, and Kris Jenner’s divorce was finalized. Since that time, their relationship has been rocky.
In June 2015, Caitlyn introduced herself to the world on the cover of Vanity Fair. While Caitlyn’s family was supportive of her cover, Kris was not too pleased how she was portrayed in the accompanying article, and as a result their relationship has been even more strained.
Now, we’re getting to see Caitlyn and Kris’ strained relationship in a new clip from I Am Cait. In the upcoming episode, Caitlyn and Kris discuss why she wasn’t invited to Kylie’s graduation party that Kris threw for her.

Yikes! Kris goes on to tell Caitlyn that that’s exactly how she felt with the Vanity Fair article. She tells Caitlyn QUOTE Listen, usually people that get a divorce, don’t do everything together. It wasn’t malicious, I didn’t intend to hurt anybody’s feelings. But, my feelings still weren’t healed. END QUOTE
It sounds like Kris hadn’t gotten over the article, which is why she didn’t invite Caitlyn to Kylie’s graduation party. Hopefully this talk will help them both move on and help repair their relationship.
