Camila and Major Lazer release the music video for their collab song, “Know No Better”, and we’re breaking down all the best moments and highlights...
Instead of showing off the impressive collaborators on the track, “Know No Better” is all about a high school kid’s daydream.
Camila, Quavo, and Travis Scott are all featured on the song, but the artists take a step back as the video tells the story of a high school kid who dreams of becoming a backup dancer for Major Lazer. The story moves back and forth between the kid’s regular, unsatisfying life, and his dream of being a successful backup dancer living in a mansion with his dream girl.
The only thing that stays constant in both realities is his love for dance, which is lucky for us because this kid has some serious moves.
Despite the story being about the high school kid, Camila, Quavo, Diplo, and Travis Scott all make an appearance in one of the daydream scenes, where they’re all hanging out in the studio and enjoying their new track.
Despite the kid having a rough day in the real world after a bully sticks his head down a toilet, he eventually seeks out his dream girl and performs his impressive choreographed moves for her, as Diplo approvingly watches.
