On Monday, Hollywood fav couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum announced that their 8 year marriage was coming to an end.
Celebrity breakups are all too common, but this one really sucks.
The two actors broke the news via social media in a joint statement that said QUOTE, “Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”
They have a daughter together named Everly who turns 5 in May. The statement ended saying QUOTE, “We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly.”
They first met on the set of Step Up in 2006 and got married in 2009. And even though a lot of people were completely blindsided by the announcement, some people were already piecing it together.
Jenna rode solo to the annual Vanity Fair Oscars After Party in early March and sources say that Channing actually moved out a couple months ago.
And back in February, Jenna opened up to Health magazine about the perception of “perfect” in a relationship saying QUOTE, “When people say you guys have such a perfect life, I want to scream and tell them no one’s perfect. We’ve always had the same values. But we’re not perfect! Are you kidding? We fight like other couples, we disagree about things, we have days where we don’t really like each other.”
But it looks like the pair really do have no bad blood as just a few weeks ago, Jenna and daughter Everly attended the Kids Choice Awards to see Channing present. And mid March Channing shared a photo of the two of them with creative face paint looks done by Everly.
