In what will go down to be the most EPIC lip sync battle between the spouses, Channing and Jenna Dewan-Tatum went head-to-head but only one contestant really proved who runs the world.
SO if you missed last night’s episode and you’re wondering who took home the gold, spoiler alert, guys: QUEEN BEY once again proved she conquers all after a shocking surprise appearance.
BUT the husband and wife of 6 years didn’t just wait until the second round to give it all they had. After some playful trash-talking between the pair, the competition was heating up from the get-go as Jenna kicked off with a sexy rendition of Paula Adbul’s “Cold Hearted Snake,” where Paula even made a special appearance…
Not only did Jenna just set the bar real high, but this dance was also memorable because it’s been Jenna’s childhood dream since she was 8, as she took to Instagram to share a before and after photo of herself, writing, “Also- I've clearly been influenced by cold hearted snake since I was 8 #noclothesnoproblem #paulaforever #lipsyncbattle”
Then it was her hubby Channing’s turn to show ‘em what he’s got. And instead of heating things up, he more or less cooled things down…
Channing gave Elsa a run for her money after taking the stage in a white long braid and Elsa’s signature blue gown, singing “Let It Go”, and I have to admit, the resemblance was awfully close. BUT round 2 took a bold turn nobody would ever see coming. It was Jenna’s turn to prove herself, and she may have taken a few helpful hints from sweet Channing…
And if anyone could get away with that not-safe-for-work crotch grab it’s a husband and wife…
Ok, so you’re probably thinking, how could Channing possibly top his wife’s performance… but surely you guys have heard the term “saving the best for last”… Channing appeared DECKED OUT head to toe in a wig, bra and a very in-style fringe skirt to prove that he runs the world. And as though his performance wasn’t enough, out walked the TRUE queen BEYONCE, who caused everyone in the audience, including Jenna to suffer a minor heart attack…
I think we can all agree that this performance, Channing’s wig included, was FLAWLESS. All four performance exceeded all of our expectations and the competition ended in a much-deserved tie, so now the Tatum clan can hang their shared Lip Sync belt right in the comfort of their own home for all to admire. But I want to know what you guys thought was the best performance and if you, like us here at Clevver, are still trying to process this whole Beyonce surprise performance, so get the conversation going right down here in the comments section. And after that, you can click right over here to check out some of the best fandom armies on a brand new Debatable.
