Chris Pratt Reveals WHY He Won't Take Selfies With Fans

Chris Pratt joins the growing list of celebs who refuse to take selfies with fans!
And Chris actually has a pretty good reason WHY.
Actor Chris Pratt covers the June issue of Cigar Aficionado alongside Guardians of the Galaxy 2 director James Gunn. But it’s not Chris’ apparent love for cigars that has us buzzing today. Inside the magazine Chris explains why he HATES taking selfies with fans. “I’ve always been a pretty deferential, go-with-the-flow guy. But now I have to be economical with my time. If I go out and want to do normal things, I have to be comfortable disappointing people.”
Okay, makes sense. Chris went on to explain further QUOTE, “I just don’t take pictures with people. Because that’s not about enjoying the moment; it’s about stealing the moment to brag about later. So I say, ‘Would you settle for a handshake?’ And then they take the picture anyway.” We gotta say- we see his point. But also as fans ourselves- we can see why someone would want to capture the moment they MET Chris Pratt!
But we’re not all that surprised to hear this from the Guardians star. Others like Jennifer Lawrence have also adopted this attitude towards taking photos in order to regain some normalcy. Perhaps it comes with a certain level of fame, when you have the desire to have fans treat you like anyone else. Justin Bieber has also implemented a selfie ban, opting to instead to have a conversation with fans.
