It didn’t take long after Chris and Anna’s separation announcement for the cheating rumors to roll on in. And the supposed culprit behind Chris and Anna’s decision to part ways? Jennifer Lawrence. After fans got over their initial shock of the divorce announcement, many started speculating that JLaw was to blame for Chris and Anna’s separation.
One fan tweeted, “I can’t believe Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are splitting up. This is all Jennifer Lawrence’s fault.” Another wrote QUOTE, “Watch Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence be a thing.” Sorry to burst all of your bubbles, but Jen has been dating director Darren Aronofsky for quite some time now.
HOWEVER, that didn’t stop people from speculating that Jen and Chris have been a thing, especially since the two starred in Passengers together. One Twitter user wrote, “I used to think Chris and Jennifer looked a little too chummy.” While another tweeted QUOTE, “The way Chris looked at Jennifer in interviews…I saw this separation coming.” Okay, but can’t a guy and girl just be friends and nothing more?
Not to mention that during Passenger’s promo tour, when rumors of Chris and JLaw hooking up were swirling around, Anna told Us Weekly that hearing and reading all of those rumors really hurt her because the two had an incredible relationship and it was “weirdly stinging.” So, maybe you guys should blame the tabloids or whoever started that hurtful rumor instead of JLaw, hm??
