And another Hollywood couple bites the dust in 2017…
27-year old Jennifer and 48-year-old Darren have broken up after a year of dating. The pair met on the set of Darren’s film, “Mother!”, which Jennifer starred in. The film was released in September of this year and was met with some strong reviews, with many either absolutely hating or loving it. While the film didn’t do as well as Jen and Darren had probably hoped, their quiet relationship still seemed to be going strong, until now. While there’s still no word on the reason for the split, it sounds like things ended on good terms, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight that the couple broke up last month, but it was amicable and “they remain friends,” according to Entertainment Tonight.
In other J-Law news, Jennifer also recently opened up about the nude photo leak that affected her and other big-name actresses in 2014, saying QUOTE, “When the [Apple] hacking thing happened, it was so unbelievably violating that you can’t even put it into words...I think that I’m still actually processing it.”
We certainly can’t blame her for that. Multiple photos intended for her boyfriend at the time, Nic Hoult, were leaked by a hacker, and the private and intimate pics were immediately posted to reddit and other sites. As for why Jen chose not to sue Apple over the violation of privacy, she said this QUOTE: “None of that was gonna really bring me peace, none of that was gonna bring my nude body back to me and Nic, the person that they were intended for”. The hacker responsible for the leaked photos was eventually caught and sentenced to serve nine months in jail in January 2017, which is a small price to pay considering Jennifer and those other actresses will have to deal with the traumatic repercussions of that leak for much, much longer.
