Jennifer Lawrence might be a woman of many talents, but it looks like singing is not one of them.
The actress stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday night to obviously discuss the upcoming release of Mockingjay Part I, and her singing voice was one of the main topics of discussion.
And just in case you’re wondering how they even started talking about that, Jen had to sing a tune called “The Hanging Tree” in the movie, and she described how traumatizing it was. In fact, she admitted that she even cried on set the day she had to film that particular scene and joked about how she just wanted them to dub in Lorde’s voice for her own.
But anyways, Jen said that one of the reasons she’s so terrified of singing is because growing up her Southern mom told her how good she was, adding that she had to sang a solo at a school performance once…. And then….
If your own DAD is laughing at your signing voice, that not a good sign. However, we bet that the star is laughing all of the way up to the Oscars stage where she won an Academy Award. But this moment where Dave and Jen sing together is priceless. I gotta show you.
