Jennifer Lawrence Is Married To Cooke Maroney!

Jennifer Lawrence is officially a newlywed! She got married to her art dealer boyfriend, Cooke Maroney, in a star-studded ceremony in Rhode Island on Saturday.
What’s up everyone, love is in the air! It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney who reportedly started dating in the spring of 2018, just said their “I do's” over the weekend.
The wedding was held at the famous Belcourt of Newport mansion, which was originally built back in the 1800’s and is absolutely stunning. It was inspired by the architecture at Versaille and we can definitely tell.
According to Vogue, J Law walked down the aisle in a Dior gown and it's being reported that she chose Maria Grazia Chiuri, the brand’s creative director, to design the look. Which isn’t a huge surprise, because Jennifer has been known to wear Dior on the red carpet and is an ambassador for the brand.
Jennifer hasn’t revealed any specifics about her wedding or her dress yet, but in June, she spoke about how easy it was to choose her dress and plan her wedding in an interview for Catt Sadler’s podcast, Naked.
She said quote, "I haven’t been neurotic about it. I saw a dress I liked, and I was like, 'That’s the dress.' I saw a venue and I was like, 'Cool, we got the venue.'"
In the same interview she spoke about her now husband, Cooke.
She said quote, “I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married.’ I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully.”
She continued on and said “It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”
And that she did! Awww, I needed this love story on this Monday. Thank you J Law and Cooke.
And though most details about the wedding festivities still remain under wraps, we know it was a star-studded celebration.
Emma Stone, Adele, Amy Schumer, and Kris Jenner were all in attendance, which sounds like my dream wedding guest list… but even these A-listers were subject to strict security measures.
And we know when Kris Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence are together… it’s a wild night!
According to People Magazine, the 150 wedding guests were reportedly required to turn in their phones ahead of the ceremony to prevent leaks.
Which obviously worked. Fans on Twitter are dying to see some pics… and honestly, so are we.
One person tweeted this funny video and said quote, “i have to give credit to all the guests but the fact that there is not a single leaked photo of jennifer lawrence’s wedding DISGUSTS me.....”
And another said quote, “Can we finally get pictures of her in wedding dress #JenniferLawrence”
But not having phones didn’t stop the wedding guests from partying through the night.
According to the Daily Mail the wedding was an all weekend celebration.
It started with a dinner at an art gallery on Thursday night, they tied the knot on Saturday, and the weekend ended with an intimate after-party that stretched well into Sunday morning.
At the reception they had some of the areas best food trucks catering and one of the food truck owners told People that quote, “People were really nice. We were serving guests until quarter after 3 a.m., and then started serving security.”
