Calling all South Park fans – did you think the new episode is dissing Jennifer Lawrence?!

Alright, so the show that is so brilliant in quickly turning around smart episodes relating to what’s going on in our world just took on the issues of privacy, drones regulation, Ferguson as well as what we’re talking about right now, the celebrity nude photo theft that recently went down in Hollywood. In the episode, our girl Jennifer Lawrence is being referred to... after Cartman “leaked” nude footage of a classmate’s mom on the internet and Butters is not too happy about having supplied his dad’s drone for the invasion of privacy.
Yep, he is clearly talking about Jennifer Lawrence and we can’t help but wonder what she thinks about this particular South Park episode. I will say that the show definitely addresses this obsession with “peeping Toms” and shows how we are all a part of the problem if secretly looking at these stolen nude pics that have been posted to the internet, so you can’t just assume that South Park is evil or being irresponsible. In fact, there are characters on the show that represent how some of us feel.
Keep in mind that this is a parody show that always takes on big issues and discussions happening in the US and in the world. And if you missed it or just want a reminder as to what Jennifer had to most recently say about the “scandal” or as I’d rather put it, the “theft” when nude photos of the star popped up on the internet after being illegally obtained from her – QUOTE “Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting.
