What do you get when you stick two of Hollywood’s most hilarious leading ladies riding a sea-doo on vacation together? A social media meltdown, of course…
And yes, this actually happened. Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer have joined forces while enjoying a relaxing weekend off TOGETHER, and yes, we’ve got the photos to prove it…
After her hit comedy Trainwreck has completely owned the box office in the last few weeks, a relaxing vacation was much needed for Amy Schumer. But to the shocking surprise of the entire Twittersphere, Amy posted a photo of her on a sea-doo WITH her new pal Jennifer Lawrence, and the Internet just about lost its cool for life.
She captioned the photo of her and Jen seemingly having a blast, simply saying, “JLAW #maniac” and there really is no need for any more words to sum it up.
But Amy and Jen were not the only two on vacation together. Amy posted another photo with a large group of her gal pals, saying QUOTE, “Binders of women,” pool floaties and all, and I’m only hoping this picture is not in the middle of an ocean because all those recent shark attacks and I’m just sayin’…
Many Twitter users also took to the social media site to give their stamp of approval to the NEW #SquadGoals, one saying, “Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence are friends. I ship it so hard.” Another user tweeted, QUOTE, “jennifer lawrence and @amyschumer becoming friends is exactly what this country needs right now.” PREACH.
And while we might be able to pinpoint where this blossoming friendship began, if you recall when Amy posted a video of herself reacting to Jen telling a reporter she wanted Amy as the next Bachelorette, I just can’t stop fantasizing about what their text conversations must look like, will there be an Amifer movie in the works, or like where can I score an invite to the next epic pool raft party?!
