Ooh, step aside, Taylor Swift, there’s a bigger, badder, even doper squad in town and it’s all thanks to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
I don’t know about you, but I’m really feeling Tina and Amy’s Dope Squad. The comedic duo decided to take a more realistic spin on Taylor’s ‘Bad Blood’ squad and the results are incredible.
Let’s face it, not everyone’s squad is filled with supermodels and starlets! On SNL this past weekend, Tina and Amy poked fun at the ultimate squad that ruled all of 2015 by assembling their own gang of bad gal pals. But, instead of having cameos from every superstar and their mother, Tina and Amy called on their gynecologist, nannies, waitresses, and a few others to help them explain to Tricia AKA Aidy Bryant how they manage to work, be a mom, and still look absolutely flawless. In the end, Aidy finally gets it and drops a few awesome lines in the song, just for good measure.
But of course, a squad isn’t complete without a famous face! So, the ladies called on their good friend Amy Schumer for a little favor because well, she owed Tina one!
Um, ladies, can I be a part of the Dope Squad too? I know how to walk away from an explosive background and look good doing it, that’s a requirement, right?
