Taylor Grammys Performance ►►

We all know Amy Schumer does not shy away from holding back her opinions, and we love her for that, but her most recent body shaming comment has got her in some HOT water with the Swiftie fandom.
First Khloe K, now a jab at Tay… can’t we all just get along and celebrate each other, people?! Where’s the girl power?!
A mere 45 minutes into the Grammys last night, Amy took to Instagram to share a photo of her and a friend at the beach, but the photo wasn’t what threw Taylor Swift’s adoring fans for a loop. Amy captioned the photo QUOTE, “Taylor that’s not a thigh gap, this is a thigh gap.”
The internet was quick to notice the timing of the photo just minutes after Taylor walked the red carpet last night, showing off her long slimmed legs in a revealing crop top and skirt combo. Many of Amy’s Instagram followers fired back at the comedian, who ironically enough, has touched on bashing Hollywood body standards and feeling comfortable with the body you’re given many times.
One user wrote QUOTE, “An exfan. you should be able to celebrate yourselves and your bodies without putting down those with different body shapes." Another one of Amy’s followers wrote, "That's rude. Can't we get rid of body shaming? You saying that is like a person calling you fat, and I'm sure you wouldn't like it. It's people like you and Hollywood standards that keep girls from feeling comfortable in their own skin."
But of course, this isn’t the first time Taylor has been the butt of a comical jab… Amy recently took part in a “Bad Blood” SNL spoof with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, in which the two previously joked about Tay steering clear of Michael J. Fox’s son at the 2013 Golden Globes. Taylor responded in a Vanity Fair interview later, “There is a special place in Hell for women who don’t support other women.”
Oooofff, that’s gotta hurt. But whether or not Amy meant this as a harmless joke, let’s just all support each other, and hey, if you’ve got thick thighs, GREAT, and if not, respect the gap. We’re all beautiful and it’s as simple as that. I’ve been the butt of skinny jokes and it’s just inappropriate as any other kind of body shaming. So let me know if you think Amy’s comment towards Tay were just a practical joke, or was it crossing over to body shaming territory? Comment below or get real with me on Twitter @Miriamisa or Instagram @Miriam_isa and don’t forget to check out Taylor’s epic opening performance from last night at the Grammys so click here for that.
