Selena Gomez is learning a thing or two from her idol Amy Schumer and channeling some serious sass in Amy’s newest comedy sketch, and this hilarious duo is EVERYTHING.
From her facial expressions to her sassy quips, Selena or Seleña, whatever you prefer, totally held her own, tacking “comedy sketch QUEEN’ onto her resume… but are we really surprised?
Just a few months after professing her love for Amy Schumer and then meeting IRL, Selena Gomez has officially made her hilarious debut on Amy’s comedy sketch show, Inside Amy Schumer, playing the lead singer in the band Selena and the Schume-Tones on Amy’s Down to Earth segment, where Amy plays a celeb who humbly brags about being “just like us normal people”, you know, with her pet dinosaurs, award nominations and housekeeper spy-cams.
But unfortunately, Sel was the butt of each and every one of Amy’s jokes… starting with the racial slurs at the beginning of the sketch, and yeuuuppp, she went there…
Girl handled it like a PRO. Amy also brings on her assistant AKA her sister Kim and the air ship’s captain Jerome, whom we all late come to find out that since Jerome is here, that makes NOBODY steering the aircraft, so naturally, disaster strikes and we’ve got ourselves a sinking ship.
Well, problem solved, I guess.
