It seems like it was just yesterday when Cole made his feature debut in ‘Big Daddy’ back in 1999 and these days, he’s gone on to star in bigger and better things. While Cole is currently known for his role as Jughead Jones in the CW’s hit series, ‘Riverdale,’ it has been announced that Cole just nabbed a lead part in CBS Films’ romantic drama titled ‘Five Feet Apart’ and it’s a pretty big deal. Why? Oh because this particular part will be the first film role of Cole’s adult career.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Five Feet Apart’ is described as an uplifting story that follows two young people who meet and fall in love while being treated for their illnesses. Now I don’t know about you, but it sounds like this movie is going to be a MAJOR tear jerker.
From what we know so far, Cole will be playing one half of the couple. No word yet on who will star opposite of Cole in the movie. In other exciting ‘Five Feet Apart’ news, the film is set to be directed by Justin Baldoni of Jane the Virgin.
