Beds for Covid-19 patients in hospitals and six quarantine and treatment centres (PKRC) in Kelantan are almost filled up following a sharp spike of positive cases over the last few days.

Five existing PKRC recorded between 79 and 103 percent occupancy, while a newly opened PKRC is filled up to 33 percent of capacity.

Kelantan also continued to record the highest infectivity rate of 1.43 as of yesterday, compared to the national rate of 1.16.
