Get ready for an EPIC KOREAN SEAFOOD FEAST at NORYANGJIN MARKET, Seoul’s famous fish market. Noryangjin is split into two areas- the new building and the old market. We explore the old market which is lined with seafood vendors selling all kinds of seafood. We purchase some fresh seafood: a baby octopus, a fresh fish and some sea pineapples.
We ask the fish vendor to prepare our fish- sashimi style as we want to eat it as hoe (raw fish). The vendor expertly slices up the fish and we then take the fish and other seafood to a restaurant which is located within the grounds of the market. Here they prepare the rest of the seafood and cook up the fish carcass as a spicy fish soup.
Such a delicious meal and a great experience!
