To celebrate the first season of James Corden’s Late Late Show officially coming to an end, the crew traveled all the way to a normal person’s house on the streets of LA complete with a few surprise guests.
So what do you get when you combine James Corden, a plethora of celebrity guests AND a randomly selected home? A full blown house party where anything is possible.
And by anything, I’m talkin’ a riveting game of hide-and-seek, a live performance, but first let’s talk about these surprise celebrities James’ invited over to these random people’s home to ring in the final episode of the Late Late Show’s first season.
Colin Farrell, Wanda Sykes and Demi Lovato all paid Natalie’s House a visit where James chatted with the group and Demi revealed that performing in more of an intimate setting like the group of friends’ home that evening was even more nerve wracking than performing at the Grammys… uh, hold up… whaaaaat?!
But to calm Demi’s nerves before the performance, the gang played a thrilling game of hide-and-seek around the house, and let’s just say, they should each stick to their day jobs… The three of them ran and hid throughout the house, Wanda being the most obvious as she sat in James’ band leader Reggie’s chair to which James didn’t even notice her. Demi, however, was the first of each of the celebs to be found, following Natalie, hiding behind a tiny box upstairs in a makeshift storage attic…
Nice try, but no cigar… James then came back downstairs to find Wanda who was sitting in the same spot he had left her…
And Colin being the last to be found, hid in an actual closet… and admitted that being the winner is no fun because you don’t get to join in on all the laughing going on. Ah yes, I remember those days. But the nerves were calmed and Demi then took the living room stage to perform her emotional power ballad “Stone Cold” right in the comfort of Natalie’s home…
Ok holy CHILLS. No matter how many times I hear this song, it blows me away every time. Phewww, now I need a second to recover. Ok so you obviously know what I thought of Demi’s performance, but I want to know all your thoughts on the performance, hide-n-seek and also this entire final episode… I’d say it was a total success, but get the conversation going right down here in the comments section below.
