Demi Lovato stops by American Idol after responding to nasty haters online. THIS IS AMERICAN IDOL! Ok, maybe not. Welcome back to ClevverNews! Lovatics we've got all the details on Demi's odd Idol surprise and recent Twitter drama. Last night on American Idol the top 7 of season 13 performed, and mid-way through the show Ryan Seacrest announced he had a special friend "chilling" backstage that he wanted to bring out to say "Hi".

What do you do when your US tour is over and X Factor is cancelled? Duh! You cameo on American Idol. After Demi and her new brown hombre hair appeared on stage and did that cute dance, she teased new dates for her Neon Lights tour. For the rest of the show Demi took a seat next to her 'dawg' Randy Jackson on a couch and gave guest commentary. Ryan Seacrest randomly called on her for critiques and thanks to her experience on X Factor, she knew just what to say. While she was all smiles during the cameo, she didn't give all the contestants a positive critique. However, Jena Irene got a lot of praise from Demi, who said she'd like to duet with Jena! (Uh, you should take Demi up on that real quick before she forgets!) And it turns out Demi has always wanted to try out for Idol, she tweeted that she always dreamed of auditioning one day. All this happened one day after Demi responded to a nasty fan comment which crashed Twitter. Demi was bold enough to retweet someone calling her "Fatty" and responded to the haters, "...you don't have to like me cause I love you." And to Lovatics, "...don't respond with hate but love and positivity". Demi should just change her name to Demi Awesome Lovato.
