Disney World ANNOUNCES Toy Story Land Opening Date & Details

If you’re a warm blooded human, chances are that at some point in your life you fell in love with Pixar’s classic tale, Toy Story! And now in just 135 days for those traveling to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will be able to be immersed in Toy Story Land. That’s right the lovable franchise has been made into a theme park. Versions of Toy Story Land already exist in Hong Kong and Paris, but now it is expanding to Shanghai on April 16th, 2018 as well as in Disney World in Orlando, Florida and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 30th. The big announcement was made on Good Morning America, unveiling that the 11-acre expansion will include gigantic crayons, cooties, green army men, rubik’s cubes, tinkertoys, and more as well as an Alien Swirling Saucers ride, a slinky dog dash rollercoaster and an expanded version Toy Story Mania.
And as if all of that isn’t cool enough, there will be a food stand called Woody’s Lunch Box that will serve QUOTE – “…tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats.” Toy Story Land has been in the works for awhile now since 2015 when it was first announced at the D23 Expo. And the cherry on top of the pie here is that Pixar is launching new editions to Disneyland as well. Later this year, California Adventure will launch Pixar Pier which will take over for what is currently known as Paradise Pier.
