After what seemed like years and years of construction, fans are finally getting a glimpse at what’s going on behind close doors at Disneyland.
It’s been almost three years (and counting) since Disney first revealed that they’re bringing Star Wars to life at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Since the big announcement, fans have been DYING to get a glimpse at what’s been going on behind closed doors.
While the house of mouse has been SLOWLY releasing concept designs of how Star Wars land is set to look,
we’re FINALLY getting to see what’s actually happening at the construction site in a galaxy not so far away in Anaheim, California.
In the teaser trailer, a camera-equipped drone flies across what is being said as one of Disneyland’s largest additions ever. It obviously doesn’t look like much since the area is still being built, but something tells us it’s going to be extraordinary once everything is done because well, it is Disney after all.
Now, I’m not the BIGGEST Star Wars fan but I just got a bunch of goosebumps after watching that.
A specific opening date has yet to be announced for Star Wars land AKA Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but it is said to open sometime in 2019. Star Wars fanatics will find themselves setting foot on Bantuu once the area opens.
Fans will be able to pilot and obviously take selfies in front of the famed Millennium Falcon and immerse themselves into the world of stars and wars in a galaxy far far away.
PROMO: How excited are you guys for Star Wars land to open and which character can you not wait to see at the park?! Get to talking in the comment section below. When you’re done with that, click right over here to get all the details behind Trump firing his secretary of state via Twitter. Thanks for hanging with me, I’m Joslyn Davis and I’ll catch ya later!
