On 25th November 2000, 16 year old Leanne Tiernan vanished while walking home from a Christmas shopping trip. This sparked the biggest missing persons investigation in West Yorkshire Police history - but they could find no trace her. Finally, nine months after she had disappeared Leanne’s body was found in a shallow grave and police hunted down her sadistic killer John Taylor. In this documentary, her family speak about the pain of that time, how their lives changed forever and their continuing battle to come to terms with such an enormous loss.
