DOCS: The World's Smallest Muscleman
SUBSCRIBE:
Meet Romeo Dev: one of only a few hundred known primordial dwarves on the planet, he’s just 2 feet 9 inches tall and weighs the same as a one-year-old child.
However, he’s overcome his condition to gain international attention as the world’s smallest muscleman.
This film follows Romeo at age 20 as he travels from his native India to America in pursuit of rising stardom. He meets Jason Acuna - AKA Wee-Man of Jackass fame – who offers advice on avoiding being stereotyped as an elf, plus he gets a chance to impress the casting director of the Cirque de Soleil circus troupe in Las Vegas.
We also meet Romeo’s family, and hear about how he progressed from sheltered beginnings to becoming celebrated in his home country for delighting crowds and TV audiences with his dancing and bodybuilding skills. Learn how a pint-sized guy rose to impressive heights of acclaim.
…
Tragically, Romeo Dev passed away after he suffered a brain aneurysm rupture on 13 September 2012. May he rest in peace.
