Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has expressed hope that the partnership between Proton and Chinese car manufacturer Geely would lead to a truly Malaysian car.
At the launch of the Proton X70 yesterday he said that in the future he hoped that, the cars will be conceptualised, designed, tested and built as a truly, 100 per cent Malaysian car.
