Former minister Khairy Jamaluddin has spoken out against Dr. Mahathir's recent controversial statement, saying it's unreasonable.

On his latest episode of Keluar Sekejap, Khairy and co-host Sharil Hamdan disagreed with Mahathir's statement that one should identify as Malay to have the right to call the country their own.

Recently, in an interview with Indian TV channel Thanthi TV, Mahathir had claimed that Malaysian Indians are not completely loyal to the country as they still identify with their country of origin.
