Drake just stopped his show mid-song to call out a man for groping women in the crowd.
As if the world needs one more reason to be obsessed with Drake.
Drake was hosting an afterparty at Marquee nightclub in Sydney, Australia earlier this week and became sexual assault’s unlikely hero. Drake noticed a man inappropriately touching women in the small audience and decided to put him on blast. Drake first tells a crew member, “Yo, stop that” to cut off his track, and then Drake points his finger straight at the groper.
As you saw, the crowd cheered with approval at Drake’s rant. In case you couldn’t quite make that out Drake yelled, “If you don’t s top touching girls, I’m gonna come out there and f*ck you up.” He continued his accusations against the man but it’s hard to hear exactly what else Drake says. What we do know is that sexual harassment is not accepted during Drake’s shows. While we don’t condone his threats to fight the guy, we do condone his stance on sexual abuse. This incident comes at a time when all eyes are on sexual assault in Hollywood and looks like Drake leading the charge to change the game.
Does this concert moment make you love Drake even more? Or do you think he was wrong to threaten the groper? Tell us your honest opinion down in the comments. As always I’m your host Emile Ennis Jr, thanks for checking us out.
