It was Rihanna’s birthday yesterday and Drake was not about to leave the stage at his concert last night without wishing his friend a happy birthday.
I’m so happy that these two are still friends and it warms my heart to see Drake showing RiRi some bday love.
Rihanna celebrated the commencement of the last year of her 20’s yesterday and a very special friend was sure to give her a shout out. During his concert in Dublin last night Drake took a moment to say QUOTE - "It's somebody's birthday today—somebody I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect for.” Check it out:
You gotta love their friendship. Even though after Drake professed his love for Riri at the VMAs last year, and things didn’t exactly turn out the way we all wanted it to, it’s nice to see that they are still buds. And this isn’t the first time Drake has shown Rihanna love in a big way. Before he presented her with the Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs, he bought her a congratulatory billboard to show how proud he was. Friendship goals.
