Drake’s got some beef with quite a few people. Some SNL cast members, people who keep turning him into memes and the rapper is not afraid to let them all know how he feels.
Things got a little emotional for Drake on SNL this past weekend when the topic of memes was brought up and Drizzy just wants everyone to know that he’s more than just an internet joke.
You guys, he’s a person with feelings and those viral memes – although they are hilarious – are very hurtful! Especially to Drake, so when it was time to do the opening monologue for his Saturday Night Live episode, well, he made sure that his message would get across. He even brought Rihanna out to repeat his words for all the people in the back.
Okay, he didn’t technically bring out RiRi, but that was a pretty decent impression of the singer. Also, did anyone catch that line about the two of them not dating? I guess they’re both just friends unless otherwise said! Now, about his beef with SNL members…it seems like these days anything will just set the rapper off.
Like the time Pete joked about Drake not knowing how to use a TV in front of his peers and then this happened…
But, it’s safe to say the rapper felt disrespected by everyone at 30 Rock, even his once BFF Leslie who failed to say hi to him because she was distracted on her phone.
No one was safe, not even Aidy who innocently moved Drake’s hat from the “empty” chair and placed it on the table.
Drizzy even had some beef with the executive producer of the show, Loren Michaels!
But, obviously it was all in good fun. Aside from performing multiple songs throughout the night, the rapper also acted in some pretty hilarious sketches. Drake played a show host on American Ninja Warrior and we all got a change to see what Drizzy would look like if he shaved off that beautiful hair of his. He also played a black Canadian contestant on the ‘Black Jeopardy’ sketch who answered almost all of the questions incorrectly. But the best part of that sketch was this moment…
Honestly, I’m just a little surprise that line didn’t spark a little beef between Kenan and Drake. Anyway, what were some of your favorite moments from Drake’s SNL episode this past weekend?
