Drake wore some socks with Rihanna on them and the internet can’t handle it.
If you ever doubted that Drake is a hopeless romantic, here’s your proof.
Drake and Rihanna may no longer be together, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t continue to support each other. And that’s exactly what Drake showcased on Monday when he posted a photo on instagram showing him chillin in his apartment in Toronto wearing socks with none other than Rihanna’s image on them from the “Work” video. The socks are from Rihanna’s new sock collaboration with Stance that she launched last week with each pair featuring a cartoon version of herself dressed in her most memorable outfits. Can we just take a moment to recognize how frickin sweet it is for a guy to wear socks with your face on them? Drake and Rihanna have known each other for a long time now and have always seemed to be close friends who may even have been more than friends at one point. And despite having moved on since whatever they had going on ended, it’s clear that they still have love for each other and Drake is even rocking her on his feet.
Naturally the internet freaked out upon seeing the photo with one person tweeting – “Drake has Rihanna on his socks and that's the kind of impact I want to have on people.” Another said – “I'm actually bored of drake and rihanna not being together when he's out there wearing her socks.” One person was clearly in their feelings saying – “you just had to remind me of Aubrih with these socks.”
The other Rihanna clad socks in the collection feature her wearing her infamous Swarovski crystal CFDA dress as well as the dress she wore to the 2015 Met Gala.
