Rihanna And Drake REUNITE At His Birthday & Spent Hours Together!

I for one, have never blown out the candles on my birthday cake and had a wish come true. Maybe I’m just not lucky like that. It’s okay. It’s something I’ve lived with and something I am used to. But some people just walk in the light. Some people close their eyes real tight and blow out those candles like their lives depend on that wish. And sometimes, just sometimes, their wishes come true.
What’s up guys it’s Emile Ennis Jr here with Clevver News and that’s just what happened to Drake on Monday night at his birthday party.So Drake was celebrating turning 33 at “Poppy Nightclub” in Los Angeles which is down the street from my house. Didn’t get an invite, but anyway even though he celebrated on Monday night, his birthday isn’t until tomorrow - October 24.And for the life of me, I can’t say why in the world he would throw his birthday party on a Monday night. I mean, who does that? Especially when his actual birthday is on a Thursday. But Poppy is open on Monday nights and they call it MyMondays so why not! And after doing some research, it looks like Mondays at Poppy are popping. Pun intended. But even though it’s right down the street from me, I have to be in studio early in the morning so when Drake and his crew are getting to Poppy, I’ve been sleep for at least 2 hours already. Anyway, Drake went out last night too for taco Tuesday at Petit Taqueria.So I guess he’s just got something against Thirsty Thursday. But knowing Drake, he’s doing a weeklong celebration and celebrating every night in some way.Anyway, Drake’s birthday wish came true when none other than Rihanna walked through the doors to his birthday party on Monday.And if you haven’t been keeping up with her IG lately… BadGalRiRi is all about making any sidewalk near a pool her runway! Okay, so she didn’t show up exactly like that. She kept it casual with an oversized sweater, sparkling bottoms, and stilettos.
So, very casual in Rihanna terms.
But she DID bring two of her friends along with her, because nobody can tell Rihanna who she can and can’t bring. She gets a plus 1? Well she’s bringing 2. And apparently Drake’s security escorted them straight to his table. It must not have been that difficult because, again, it was a Monday night and the club was probably empty. And it wasn’t just a brief appearance by Rihanna. According to reports by E! News, Rihanna stayed with Drake for several hours. They were seen chatting and laughing at their table, where Drake kept buying bottles of Dom Perignon and Don Julio 1942.
I don’t have to tell you how expensive those can be.
One of Rihanna’s friends, Lyrica Anderson, posted an instagram story of her and Rihanna at the club.And yes, there was dancing involved.Just hopefully none like this.
t was certainly a surprise that Rihanna made an appearance, because their relationship has been rocky for the past few years. In 2016 they very briefly dated after years of Drake pining after Rihanna.The two were seen together throughout the summer, but eventually fizzled out as both superstars went their own way.
Since then, Rihanna has been in a committed, long term relationship with Hassan Jameel. The two have been dating for about two years now.And in 2018, Rihanna told Vogue that her and Drake don’t really talk anymore.I guess they did lots of talking at Drake’s birthday bash.
Drake also just released a song with Rihanna’s controversial ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Though they’ve had beef in the past, largely in part due to Rihanna, their music video seems to squash it all. A few days ago, when Rihanna was promoting her Fenty Beauty line on Instagram, and along with a short video of her “Glossy Posse”, she shared Chris’s new collab with H.E.R. “Come Together” in the background. But always one to make the peace, Drake tried to enjoy his birthday and the precious time he got to spend with Rihanna. He even ordered late night mcdonalds to be delivered to the club. Hes kind of known for having late night munchies and ordering food while partying. In 2013 he celebrated with the Miami Heat by going out and having pizzas delivered to their private table.This was long before Postmates became popular.
